The Aveley Junior Football Club Inc. (Aveley JFC) is 100% run by volunteers, this includes the full committee, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, co-ordinators and canteen managers.  The Aveley JFC has no paid staff.

Without volunteers, this club (like all others) would not exist.

As part of your child’s registration it is a requirement to volunteer your time when required by the Aveley JFC on a team rostered system (issued by the Team Managers) with an even allocation of time in the canteen.  Junior football requires more volunteers to commence a game, especially at home games.

The required volunteered tasks (Volunteered Tasks) for each home junior football game include the following;

• Setup / Pack up
• Goal Umpiring (& Away Games)
• Oranges (& Away Games)
• Time Keeper
• Canteen x 3
• BBQ
• Interchange (Youth & Away Games)
• Score board (Youth only)

Failure to fulfil your roster may result in reduced playing time for your child along with further restrictions if not complied with. A roster position may be changed if required and is the responsibility of the parent to organise the change with another parent in the team, and to advise the Team Manager of the change.

The funds raised from the canteen shall be used for the end of year windup and to purchase new football equipment.
