Aveley Avengers Junior Football Club is very proud to have some of our players represent not only our club but also the state of Western Australia.
The Aveley JFC would like to congratulate Shari Ketteridge from our Year 9 team on being selected to represent and co-captaining the WA State Schools u15 girls side in Queensland this year. This follows on from Shari’s representation in 2022’s U12 side.
2024
The Aveley Junior Football Club congratulates Lloyd Browne, from our Year 10 team, on his selection to the WA State schools U15 team. Lloyd will travel to the Gold Coast at the end of July to represent WA.
2023
The Aveley JFC would like to congratulate one of our own players for making the WA State U/18 AFL team – Evan Smith.
This is a massive achievement to be part of the 32 player WA State squad.
Evan will be playing other state teams in the AFL carnival during June and July in a home and away competition.
This is where most AFL players get drafted to the big time.
Evan was a player of the Clubs first Premiership in 2020 with the Y9 Division 1 team.
Evan has played over 20 games with the Swan Districts Colts team in 2022 and 2023.
The Aveley JFC Committee and supporters wish Evan all the best of luck.
Look out for Evan wearing WA State jumper number 32.
The Aveley JFC wish to congratulate Charlie Crotty from our Year 6 team for recently competing in the U12 State Team!!! Well done Charlie
